ESG e-Seminar: Green Finance – Market Development and Opportunities (archived session) Green financing, which encompasses green bonds, loans and other financial instruments to fund environmentally friendly projects, is a rapidly growing trend in Hong Kong and across the globe, driven by the strong decarbonization needs for the national and corporates' net-zero ambition, and the increasing interest in the capital market for green investment. Researches indicated that global investment of USD 90 trillion would be required by 2023 to achieve global sustainable development and climate objectives.
