Description

Set against the backdrop of the global pandemic, environmental, social and governance (ESG) has emerged as a hot topic as organizations and governments alike focus on a green recovery. The rise of ESG has brought non-financial reporting into the forefront of corporate disclosures, influencing business strategy, investment decisions and access to financing. The latest requirements from ESG reporting frameworks have impacted all branches of business, from internal audit to human resources, corporate communications to engineering operations. The Young Members Committee of the Institute and The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) have jointly invited experts from EY to introduce the big picture driving ESG performance in companies in this webinar. The speakers will also share on how these trends are impacting engineering-related companies, their business direction and daily operations, as well as the role of engineers and accountants in this rapidly growing field.
