Description

The Information Communications and Technology Interest Group (ICTIG) and Financial Services Interest Group (FSIG) jointly present a lunch webinar to help members understand more about the journey from Blockchain to non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Metaverse.

In this webinar, the speaker will start with the history of money, filled with conflict and competition and the history of crypto-currency. He will then take a deep dive into its current regulatory environment around the world where major exchanges are facing critical sanctions and challenges, introducing how regulators are shaping the digital assets industry. The speaker will also emphasize Hong Kong's role in the blockchain sphere including smart contracts, security tokens and their offering, "DeFi" (or decentralized finance), non-fungible tokens "NFTs", the Metaverse, "GameFi", ETFs, Fintech, regulations, and more.
