HKICPA and CIMA are going to jointly organize six half-day workshops (i.e. 5 sessions plus 1 optional examination preparatory session) tailored for those who intend to develop financial and management skills, and build up business acumen and commercial awareness. The programme structure is designed based on the framework of Paper P3 – Risk Management Exam for the CIMA qualification and the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. Objectives These are revision sessions designed for those who are prepared to take Paper 3 – Risk Management Exam for the CIMA membership and CGMA designation. The sessions will cover: • Identification, classification and evaluation of risk; • Enterprise risks; • Responses to strategic risk; • Internal controls to manage risks; • Managing risks associated with cashflows; • Managing risks associated with capital investment decisions; and • Cyber risks. Live examples will be used to illustrate the concepts. Session 6 will focus on exam techniques, solely for participants preparing for the P3 examination.
