Description

Face-to-face

Ever wondered how one of the world's busiest and major ports stays safe around the clock? This exclusive visit to the Vessel Traffic Centre (VTC) and the Hong Kong Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre (HKMRCC) of the Marine Department provides a rare opportunity to step inside the critical operations that keep Hong Kong’s waters safe.

Hong Kong’s port has always been a key factor in Hong Kong's economic development. As the authority responsible for all local navigational matters and vessel safety standards, the Marine Department plays a vital role in our maritime success. With the support of Dr. Hon Webster Ng, JP, Legislative Council Member (Accountancy Functional Constituency), this visit offers participants firsthand insight into live operations of the major centers. Participants will discover how advanced radar surveillance systems manage our bustling waterways and learn how professional marine officers coordinate search and rescue missions across the South China Sea.

Spaces are limited – register today to secure your place!
