Overview
After this course, participants will be able to understand the definition of connected transactions (including continuing connected transactions), as well as their respective requirements under Chapter 14A of the Listing Rules. Besides, participants should also be familiar with the connected transactions which can be exempt from announcement and/or shareholders’ approval requirements.
 
Topics include:
  • What are connected transactions and continuing connected transactions
  • The definition of “connected persons” and “associates”
  • What are the disclosure requirements for connected transactions
  • The requirements for a de minimis transaction
