The Institute proudly launched the “Technology & Innovation Series”. This new series aims to help our members embrace technology and navigate the evolving technology landscape effectively. This initiative is designed to enhance members’ capacity and efficiency in both the management and operational aspects of digital transformation.
Kicking off this series was a seminar on iAM Smart and Corp ID: Two key digital infrastructures for driving smart city development.
“iAM Smart” was introduced as a one-stop personalized digital services platform which provides Hong Kong residents with a single digital identity. It streamlines online identity verification, facilitates seamless and reliable interactions with government and commercial online services, and enables legally binding digital signatures – all while ensuring data privacy and security.
The Corp ID platform facilitates Hong Kong corporations to undergo corporate identity authentication and signature verification when using the government and commercial online services, simplifying the complicated procedures and accelerating their digital transformation.
In this e-Seminar, participants will explore how these initiatives enhance the operational efficiency of CPAs, leveraging digital identities of individuals and corporations as a reliable and trusted source of information for conducting customer identity authentication and customer due diligence, and more.
