Representatives from the ICAC's Hong Kong Ethics Development Centre will discuss the Model for Ethical Decision Making (EDM). In particular, they will cover the following areas:

• Introduction – Why ethics?
• Ethical awareness
• Values definition – with reference to the Revised Code of Ethics
• Introduction of ethical decision making model
• Conclusion – Moral courage to put ethics in practice

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

• gain greater insight into the importance of upholding professional and personal ethics
• be able to identify core ethical values and the important features of the Revised Code of Ethics
• understand the concept and nature of an ethical dilemma
• develop skills in resolving ethical dilemmas

Participants will be arranged in groups to discuss their real-life ethical dilemmas in the workshop.
